When I took a ride on monorail or LRT, I have always wondered, wat’s really been going on in these city ppl minds. When the train stops at its designated station, they can’t wait to get in. Cutting queues, pushing other ppl and of course never bother to wait until all passengers are out of train before get aboard (and to think most of them are office workers!!!). They can’t just wait to find a seat or good standing spot.

But the most curious thing is, during the ride, if there are passengers leave the train and left empty seats, no one seem to bother to take those seats. Most of them prefer to stand.
I’m kinda understand it if their destination is one stop ahead. But from my observation, most of them still have 2 or 3 stops more before they reach their destination. Y would they waste their energy by standing when they can conserve that energy if they are sitting. They still need to walk up n down the stairs of LRT/monorail stations. Some of them still have to walk couple of meters to reach home or office. I'm always wondered....
